Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. O/N Shanghai |

Day 2 Visit Yuyuan Garden, laid out in the 16th century by a Ming official. Leaving the ancient for the modern you visit the Pudong New Area is a triangular area adjacent to the city proper. Here you'll find the biggest of everything: the tallest TV tower in Asia, the largest department store on the continent, and the tallest building in the world. The modern architectural wonders, the Yangpu and Nanpu Bridges, connect Pudong to Puxi, the city proper. O/N Shanghai.

Day 3/4 Take the flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel, visit the Xinjiang Museum, afternoon free. 2 nights in Urumqi

Day 5/6/7 After breakfast take flight to Kashgar. The next morning will be spent at the Sunday Market – taking in all areas of the market place – the boot, hat, textile and spice markets as well as the livestock market. Visit the Mausoleum of Abjak Hoja and walk through the old town quarter ending up at the Id Kah Mosque (the largest in China) and the surrounding market area. 3 nights in Kashgar

Day 8 Morning drive to Aksu cross the famous old town Artosh visit Sultan Boghrakhan mosque-tomb. O/N Aksu

Day 9 Drive to Kucha , on the way visit to the site of the Kezil Caves and spend the afternoon The Kezil are among the earliest of Buddhist cave sites in China. Late afternoon continue on to Kucha. O/N Kucha

Day 10 Visit Kyzilkargha Buddha cave(4th-6th century , take a walk at the old town area, visit Grand Kucha mosque (with central Asian architectural style ). Take train to Turpan. O/N train

Day 11 Arrive in Turpan and visit Grape valley (Turpan is also known in China as grape town) O/N Turpan

Day 12 Morning visit Kariz under ground irrigation system (one of the three manmade ancient project of China, Emin minaret. Visit Bezeklic caves (4th century), Astan tombs. Gaochang ancient city, you will be taken by donkey cart to visit the temple area. Take the train to Dunhuang. O/N train

Day 13/14 Arrive in Dunhuang and visit the Yangguan. To the west of Dunhuang, the valley gradually broadens and one quickly enters the largely barren waste of the gravel desert. The next day visit Singing Dunes. Singing dunes are one of the most puzzling and impressive natural phenomena I have ever encountered," says Andreotti.
